Associate Membership
Associate members must hold a certificate in an associated profession responsible for boilers, refrigeration and pressure vessel related technologies. The following is a list of Canadian related professions.

- Ice Plant Operator
- In-Service Pressure Equipment Inspector (Only if the applicant has a First Class Power Engineer’s Certificate of Competency.)
British Columbia
- Refrigeration Operator
- Boiler Safety Awareness
- Refrigeration Plant Operator
- Antique Show Boiler Operator
- Oil Well Boiler Operator
Saskatchewan
- Fireman Boiler Operator
- Oilfield A Boiler Operator
- Oilfield B Boiler Operator
- Refrigeration Plant Operator
- Refrigeration Plant Operator
- Refrigeration Engineer (If the applicant has a 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th Class Power Engineer’s License)

If your certificate is not a power engineering certificate/license but is a related field pertaining to power engineering, please submit your certificate and your related work experience. If it is deemed satisfactory, then an application for membership will be accepted.
