The Institute of Power Engineers (IPE) is dedicated to supporting the growth and success of students pursuing careers in the field of power engineering. Every year, the IPE provides scholarships and bursaries to students who study power engineering at post-secondary institutions. The scholarships and bursaries are designed to help students covers the costs associated with their education and support their development as they prepare to enter the job market Additionally, the IPE is committed to providing mentorship and guidance to students as they navigate their career paths. Through its ongoing support of students and dedication to their success, the IPE is making a significant contribution to the development of the next generation of power engineers.

Floyd Edwards Memorial Scholarship

Value: $1,000

Criteria:

  • Second or third semester
  • Enrolled as a full time student in a two-year (or greater Power Engineering program)
  • Submit a 500 word essay on a power engineering related topic
  • Provide recommendation from the Program Coordinator at the institution your enrolled at
