The IPE is a member volunteer run organization that relies on the dedication of these individuals to continue to promote a vision of excellence and awareness within the power engineering profession. The same vision that our founders had in 1940.
Strategic Planning
The IPE’s direction is charted by the collaboration and involvement of each of its areas and branch partners. As a not-for-profit organization we strive to advocate and promote power engineering through the sharing of information and being on the ground floor of new provincial/territorial codes and standards. This includes but is not limited to areas such as safety, education and training and interfacing with regulators/provincial authorities, private organizations and educational institutions.
Participating
As a member of the Institute of Power Engineers you have direct access to the processes. Participating within any level of the organization whether it be at the local, area or national level gives you a voice and opportunities to drive change.
