As you are aware, there is an alarming shortage of Power Engineers. You may be having trouble finding good 2nd and 3rd Class Engineers for your plant. You can help us help you!
The Ontario Area Institute of Power Engineers, TSSA and the approved Colleges across the province are working together to help deal with the shortage. Many of you have already been helping us by providing students the critical three months of 4th Class qualifying time. We have noticed a marked increase in the number of placements we are able to offer and we have you to thank for that! We continue to encourage you to work with the Colleges to provide the most opportunities for students.
