Three Life Memberships Awarded Recently in the Manitoba Area
At the last Annual General Meeting of the Institute of Power Engineers in Burlington, Ontario, I (Manitoba Area Director William Kalinowich) was very pleased to accept Life Membership Certificates on behalf of the following members: Julie Hawkins from Kincardine, ON, Stephen Bilik from Winnipeg, MB, and Barrie Nicholl of Portage La Prairie, MB. All of these Power Engineers have been members for over 40 years, and are well known and respected individuals. I was only able to meet with Mr. Barrie Nichol in person to present his certificate, but also spoke to Mr. Stephen Bilik on the telephone. Our President, George Kurowski, is going to present Mr. Bilik with his certificate.
